2019 EXCELEBRATION: “KIDS UNDER CONSTRUCTION”

"Kids Under Construction" is the theme for an interactive event to celebrate the City of Petal's re-certification as an Early Childhood Community by Excel By 5. Parents are encouraged to bring their kids, ages 0-5, to Hinton (Relay) Park in Petal (behind the library) for a fun, construction-themed event on Saturday, March 30th from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. There will be lots of fun activities including building, loading, hauling, dumping and exploring for preschool aged children.

"Excelebration” happens once every three years to celebrate Petal’s recertification. Coalition members, volunteers and community partners will all join in the fun. There will be hard hats, tool belts and refreshments, plus great information about the resources available in the Petal community to help parents and caregivers prepare our community’s children for school and success.
